Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. She is most famous for her part as Skyler White on The AMC show Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The actress also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student in Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio in the United States, where she nurtured her interest in the theatre. She was a theatre student at Northwestern University and spent a year at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed by the theater in the Chicago area for a few years before trying her hand at television as well as film roles. Anna got her first major part in the role of Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in the year 1992. As a guest-star, Anna was on Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. In fact, it was not until the end of the 1990s when she landed the role of The Practice. In the mid 2000's she was given the role of Deadwood in the role of Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler was the character she played in Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood were also an integral part of her professional acting career. Gunn was also on the stage starring in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn appeared in a series of audio play podcast called"Numbered Days.. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. Its strain and ultimate end reflect the final decades of Walter White.
