Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. The professor is also director of the Center for Public Policy Research. Her name is well-known for starting modern scientific studies of the memory of children as eyewitnesses and the use of child victimization in court. Professor Goodman, who has a wide range of research publications as well as numerous grants to her name and is the recipient of a variety of international and national awards. She has consulted with various governments and agencies across the world regarding policies and research on child victimization in the court system. She also serves as a consulting for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She's a member of numerous professional associations, including Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as well as the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was president of the the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division as well as three divisions of Children and Families Policy and Practice Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
